Details, details, details...

Just a few details to remember....
1) Make sure that if you have room and didn't pick up any of the extra gear for the trip that you contact Pastor Randy asap.  He'll be in contact with you when he gets the remaining equipment.
2) Plan on being at the airport by 10 am on May 9th.
3) Please comment below any specific prayer requests that we can be praying about.

Amazing God!

God is beyond AMAZING!  Ephesians 3:20 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" I'm going to TOGO! God has opened a door for me to serve beyond what I could imagine.  I'll be serving in TOGO with 13 other guys as we help build a Hospital and share the gospel. I never imagined going to Africa. As an associate pastor at Meridian First Baptist Church, I was serving as a sender for our Togo team. I helped organize some team meetings and was glad to help get our team to Togo. A couple of months ago, There was a need for a substitute team member and so I told our Pastor that I could serve in this way. I filled out the application and finalized other paper work and within one week I officially joined the team. Amazing! Not only that, but God had already supplied the finances for me to be added to the team. This is way beyond me or even anything I imagined. Amazing God! Now that I'm part of the "GO"team and SENDING team, I'd like to encourage you to follow us on this blog and PRAY to our AMAZING GOD! - Pastor Dave Duron

Starting Something New

Hi, I'm Beth and I'm part of MFBC's missions committee.  I'm writing this blog so that current teams will have up to date information about the pre-trip planning, etc. I'm writing this blog to help others know about what is happening on the trip.  I'm writing this blog as a way for you to know how to pray and what to give praise for!  Come along the journey with me as I serve the Lord as a sender.  


Most of the blog will consist of correspondence that I receive from the team.  So, in essence, most of the blog will be written by people on the field.
